The MILWAUKEE 49-16-2632c is a 5/8-inch PEX crimp jaw designed for use with sub-compact press tools. Built from steel, this jaw attaches to a sub-compact press tool and installs ASTM F1807 and F2159 PEX crimp fittings on small-diameter tubing. Sub-compact press tools are the smallest and lightest class of pipe press tool, and these jaws are sized to match their compact form factor. Licensed plumbers and pipe fitters use this jaw set when working in confined spaces where full-size press tools cannot reach or are impractical to handle.
This jaw is intended for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where 5/8-inch PEX tubing is being installed or repaired. It is compatible with sub-compact press tools and supports ASTM F1807 and F2159 fitting systems, covering the most common PEX crimp ring standards used in new construction and retrofit work. Its compact profile allows use in tight wall cavities, under cabinets, and in mechanical rooms with limited clearance.
Designed for use with sub-compact press tools. Compatible Tool Grainger Part Number: 49EJ10. Supports ASTM F1807 and F2159 PEX crimp fitting systems on 5/8-inch pipe.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and applicable ASTM standards. Shut off water supply and depressurize the line before pressing any fitting. Verify the jaw is fully seated in the tool before actuating the press cycle. Do not use the jaw on tubing sizes or fitting systems outside of its rated specifications.
