The MILWAUKEE 48-89-2213 is a titanium-coated jobber-length drill bit sold as a 2-piece set, designed for trades professionals drilling through wood, metal, and PVC on the job site. The titanium coating reduces heat build-up and extends sharpness for up to 3 times longer service life compared to standard uncoated bits. A thicker-than-standard web core resists side-load breakage during demanding drilling applications. The 135-degree split point tip starts on contact without walking, delivering fast and accurate hole placement. The parabolic flute geometry clears chips and debris quickly to keep the bit running cool. A 3-flat shank seats firmly in the drill chuck to prevent slipping under load.
This bit is suited for general jobsite use across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and light construction trades. The reduced shank diameter allows it to run in 3/8-inch chucks as well as standard 1/2-inch chucks, making it compatible with most portable cordless and corded drills. Effective on curved and irregular surfaces, it handles wood framing, sheet metal, conduit work, and PVC pipe layout tasks with reduced operator effort. The 2-piece pack provides a backup bit on multi-day jobs or when working across multiple crews.
Designed for use with standard 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch portable cordless and corded drills. Suitable for drilling wood, metal, and PVC.
Install and remove drill bits only when the drill is powered off and the trigger is locked out. Seat the 3-flat shank fully into the chuck and tighten all three chuck jaws before drilling. Use appropriate eye protection when drilling metal or masonry-adjacent materials. Inspect bits before each use and replace if tips show signs of heat discoloration or edge rounding.
