The MILWAUKEE 48-73-1300 is a Type 2, Class C vented safety helmet designed for construction and industrial jobsite use. It provides protection from both top and lateral impacts, meeting ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type 2 Class C certification and EN 12492:2012 energy absorption and retention system requirements. The helmet features a padded suspension system with an adjustable swinging ratchet for a secure, comfortable fit across a range of head sizes. An antimicrobial, moisture-wicking sweatband and helmet liner are included to reduce odor and bacteria buildup. Licensed tradespeople, general contractors, and site supervisors working under OSHA head-protection requirements will find this helmet suited to demanding daily use.
This helmet is intended for residential and commercial construction, utility work, and industrial environments where Type 2 head protection is required. Its BOLTa accessory platform integrates seamlessly with four BOLTa accessory slots and two universal slots, allowing workers to attach lighting, face shields, hearing protection, and other PPE without removing the helmet. The included BOLTa Headlamp Mount works with most standard headlamps, and the BOLTa Marker Clip keeps pens and markers accessible. A five-buckle adjustable chin strap provides the climbing-style retention needed in elevated or dynamic work environments.
Compatible with BOLTa accessory ecosystem including headlamp mounts, face shields, and hearing protection attachments. Universal accessory slots accept most standard hard hat accessories. Logo customization is supported for jobsite or company branding.
Fitting should be performed by the wearer prior to first use — adjust the ratchet suspension and chin strap buckles until the helmet sits level and stable without rocking. Inspect the shell and suspension for cracks, deformation, or UV degradation before each shift, and replace the helmet if any damage is found. The sweatband, helmet liner, and chin strap are machine washable; remove them before laundering and reattach fully before wearing. Follow your employer's PPE program and applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1926.100 requirements for hard hat selection and replacement intervals.
