The Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp 48-20-7452 is a 4-flute carbide-tipped SDS-Plus rotary hammer drill bit engineered for masonry and concrete drilling applications. It features a 2-cutter head design that delivers faster penetration and improved dust evacuation compared to standard single-cutter configurations. The 3/8-inch diameter shank accepts any SDS-Plus rotary hammer, making it a direct fit for the most common hammer drills used on commercial and residential job sites. A hanging security tab is built into the shank end for organized tool storage. This bit is suited for licensed electricians, plumbers, HVAC mechanics, and general contractors drilling anchor, conduit, or pipe-penetration holes through concrete, block, or brick.
The 48-20-7452 is designed for use with SDS-Plus rotary hammers in applications that require clean, accurately sized holes in concrete, masonry block, and brick. Typical install scenarios include setting anchor bolts, routing conduit sleeves, creating pipe penetrations, and drilling mounting holes for brackets and hangers. The 6-inch usable length provides sufficient depth for most standard wall and slab penetrations without the added weight and flex of a longer extension bit. This bit is packaged individually and is appropriate for both field service and shop inventory.

Installation of this bit requires an SDS-Plus rotary hammer — do not attempt to use it in a standard keyed or keyless drill chuck. Always wear eye protection and a dust mask rated for silica when drilling concrete or masonry, in accordance with OSHA silica exposure standards. Confirm the drilling surface is free of embedded conduit, rebar, or utility lines before starting. Allow the hammer action to do the work; excessive manual pressure can accelerate carbide wear and reduce bit life.
