The MILWAUKEE 48-13-8350 is a flexible steel cable bit designed for drilling and pulling small wire systems through walls and other difficult-to-reach spaces. Measuring 1/2 inch in diameter and 72 inches in length, this bit features an extra-long, flexible steel shaft that allows technicians to navigate behind walls with greater precision. Pull-through holes in both ends eliminate the need for a separate fish tape step after drilling. It is suited for electricians, low-voltage installers, and security or telecom technicians who need to route wire in finished or framed wall cavities.
This cable bit is used in residential and light commercial installations where routing small wire systems is required. Typical applications include computer network cabling, security system wiring, phone lines, and coaxial cable runs. The 72-inch shaft length is well suited for reaching across wide stud bays or through deep wall assemblies where shorter bits cannot reach. Milwaukee also offers this bit in a 54-inch length for tighter or shallower applications.
Designed for use with standard 1/2-inch drill chucks. Compatible with the Milwaukee placement guide (48-08-0275) for locating holes within wall interiors. Suitable for routing computer, security, phone, and coaxial cable systems.
This bit is typically installed by licensed electricians or low-voltage wire technicians working under applicable NEC guidelines. Confirm the drill chuck accepts a 3-flat shank before use. Before drilling into any wall cavity, verify the absence of electrical wiring, plumbing, or structural members using a stud finder or inspection camera. Use the manufacturer-recommended placement guide to center the hole accurately within the wall cavity and avoid overdriving the bit past the intended depth.
