The MILWAUKEE 48-13-6907 is a Shockwave lineman impact auger bit engineered for power utility professionals who drill through wooden utility poles. The bit measures 13/16 inches in diameter and features a single spur design that scores the edge of the hole, producing a clean finish that allows bolts to pass through without resistance. A reinforced anti-friction PTFE coating reduces friction during drilling and makes bit removal from the pole significantly easier. The aggressive feed screw and cutting edge pull the bit through wood quickly, while the wide flute geometry ejects chips efficiently to prevent clogging and maintain drilling speed.
This bit is designed for power utility linemen working on wooden utility poles in the field. It fits a 7/16 inch hex shank for quick connection into standard 7/16 inch quick-connect impact driver chucks. The solid stemmed core adds structural strength for demanding pole work. The bit is intended for clean wood only and is sold individually. It is available in 18 inch, 24 inch, and 30 inch lengths to suit different reach and depth requirements on the job.
Designed for use with impact drivers and drills equipped with a 7/16 inch quick-connect chuck. Intended for drilling into wooden utility poles in clean wood conditions only.
Installation and use of this bit should be performed by qualified power utility linemen following applicable safety and utility work standards. Ensure the impact driver or drill is powered off and all lockout-tagout procedures are followed before changing bits. Use only with a properly rated 7/16 inch quick-connect chuck and do not exceed the tool's rated capacity. This bit is intended for clean wood only and should not be used in treated, knotted, or embedded-hardware sections of a pole.
