The MILWAUKEE 48-01-7092 is a thin kerf, bi-metal reciprocating saw blade engineered for fast, flexible metal cutting. At 6 inches in length with a 60-tooth configuration, it is built for SAWZALL-style reciprocating saws commonly used by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and general contractors. The Matrix II bi-metal tooth construction delivers durability under repeated load. A honeycomb-patterned body, referred to as Grid Iron, increases rigidity and resists blade buckling during aggressive cuts. The Tough Neck tang design reinforces the blade at its most failure-prone point, reducing breakage during high-cycle use.
This blade is suited for metal-cutting applications in both residential and commercial settings. The thin kerf profile reduces material drag, allowing faster cutting with less heat buildup. The 60-tooth count makes it appropriate for cutting thin-wall conduit, pipe, sheet metal, and similar ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Trades that frequently work with metal framing, strut, or mechanical piping will find this blade a practical fit for day-to-day reciprocating saw work. This SKU is sold individually as a single blade; minimum order quantity is 100 units for bulk purchasing.
Designed for use with SAWZALL-style reciprocating saws that accept standard universal shank blades, including Milwaukee SAWZALL models and other reciprocating saws with compatible blade mounts.
Reciprocating saw blade changes should be performed with the tool powered off and unplugged or with the battery pack removed. Ensure the blade clamp is fully engaged before beginning any cut. Wear appropriate eye and hand protection when handling metal-cutting blades, as burrs and chip ejection are common. Follow all applicable safety guidelines for reciprocating saw operation on the jobsite.
