The MILWAUKEE 48-01-7037 is a 12-inch bi-metal reciprocating saw blade engineered for demanding professional cutting applications. Built with Matrix II high-speed steel teeth containing 8 percent cobalt, the blade holds a sharper cutting edge longer under continuous use. The bi-metal construction allows the blade to flex and bend without shattering, reducing blade breakage during aggressive cutting. At 6 TPI, it is optimized for fast, aggressive cuts where smooth finish is secondary to speed and throughput. A licensed HVAC technician, plumber, electrician, or general contractor installing or roughing-in systems will find this blade suited to high-volume demolition and installation work.
This blade is designed for very fast cutting in nail-embedded wood and general roughing-in applications. The 12-inch length provides reach in tight framing cavities and wall penetrations common in residential and light commercial construction and remodel work. The 1/2-inch universal tang mounts to all Milwaukee SAWZALL tools as well as standard competitive reciprocating saws, making it a reliable jobsite staple regardless of the saw brand on the truck. Trade professionals who cut through dimensional lumber, subfloor, or nail-laden framing members will get consistent performance from this blade across a full workday.
Fits all Milwaukee SAWZALL reciprocating saws and any standard competitive reciprocating saw accepting a 1/2-inch universal tang. Designed for OEM-style direct installation without adapters.
Blade changes should be performed with the tool unplugged or the battery pack removed. Ensure the blade clamp mechanism is fully engaged before cutting. Eye protection and cut-resistant gloves are recommended when handling and changing blades, particularly after use when blade teeth are sharp and the body may be hot. Follow applicable jobsite safety codes when cutting near energized conductors or active utilities.
