The MILWAUKEE 48-01-7015 is a fleam ground reciprocating saw blade engineered for fast, clean cuts in wood-based materials. At 6 inches in length and 0.75 inches wide, this blade uses a deep gullet design that cuts up to 25% faster than standard wood blades. The fleam ground tooth geometry creates exceptionally sharp cutting edges, while Matrix II bi-metal teeth add durability for extended blade life. Carpenters, remodelers, and general contractors reach for this blade when cutting clean wood, plywood, OSB, and engineered lumber on the job.
This blade is suited for residential and light commercial framing, rough carpentry, and demolition work involving wood and wood-composite materials. The 6-inch length handles typical framing lumber and sheet goods without blade flex. The fleam ground process is particularly effective when cut quality matters, such as trimming door casings, cutting sheathing, or making plunge cuts in finish carpentry scenarios where a ragged edge creates rework.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement blade for use with standard universal-shank reciprocating saws. Fits any reciprocating saw accepting the standard universal shank, which is the industry-standard interface used across most corded and cordless reciprocating saw platforms.
A licensed carpenter or qualified tradesperson should install and change blades following the saw manufacturer's instructions. Always power down the saw and disconnect the battery or unplug the tool before changing blades. Allow the blade to cool before handling after extended use, as blade tips retain heat. Use appropriate blade guards and personal protective equipment per jobsite safety requirements.
