The MILWAUKEE 48-01-6091 is a 6-inch SAWZALL reciprocating saw blade engineered for high-demand professional cutting applications. Built with Matrix II bi-metal construction, the blade combines a hardened cutting edge with a flexible backing to resist breakage under load. A double relief angle distributes tooth stress evenly across the cutting edge, extending service life in abrasive materials. The precision forming process produces sharper tooth geometry for faster cuts through nail-embedded wood and general roughing-in work. This blade is sold in a 50-blade pack, making it a practical bulk stock option for active job sites. Licensed contractors, framers, and demolition crews are the primary installers and users.
This blade is suited for residential and light commercial demolition, rough framing, and general-purpose cutting tasks where nail-embedded lumber is common. The 6-inch length provides adequate reach for most wall, floor, and structural cuts encountered during remodel and new construction work. The 1/2-inch universal tang fits all SAWZALL reciprocating saw platforms, allowing the blade to be deployed across a mixed tool inventory on the same crew.
Fits all SAWZALL reciprocating saw products via the 1/2 inch universal tang interface.
Blade changes must be performed with the tool unplugged or the battery pack removed. Insert the blade shank fully into the tool chuck until the locking mechanism engages before applying load. Inspect blades before each use and discard any blade showing cracks, missing teeth, or visible distortion. Blade selection, tool guarding, and personal protective equipment should conform to applicable OSHA and tool-manufacturer safety guidelines.
