The MILWAUKEE ELECTRIC TOOL CORP 48-00-5016 is a 5-pack of 9-inch reciprocating saw blades designed for aggressive wood cutting in nail-free wood and plastics. Each blade runs at 6 teeth per inch (TPI) with fleam-filed teeth geometry, which produces an extremely sharp cutting edge for fast material removal and a smooth finish. These blades are compatible with Sawzall and other standard reciprocating saws. Licensed tradespeople and experienced DIYers use these blades when speed and edge quality matter on wood framing, trim, and plastic sheet stock.
These 9-inch, 6 TPI blades are suited for residential and light commercial applications where cutting through nail-free dimensional lumber, engineered wood, and plastics is part of the workflow. Typical install and demolition scenarios include rough framing cuts, window and door openings, plastic pipe rough-in, and general teardown work. The 5-pack format supports sustained jobsite use without frequent trips to the supply house. They are not intended for metal cutting or applications where nails, screws, or embedded fasteners are present in the cut path.
Designed as an OEM-style reciprocating saw blade for use with standard shank Sawzall and compatible reciprocating saws; intended for nail-free wood and plastics only.
Reciprocating saw blade changes should be performed with the tool unplugged or the battery removed before inserting or removing any blade. Confirm the blade clamp or chuck is fully engaged before powering the tool. These blades are rated for wood and plastics only — do not use on metal, masonry, or material containing embedded fasteners, as doing so will damage the teeth and create a safety hazard. Follow applicable jobsite safety codes and wear appropriate eye and hand protection during operation.
