The MILWAUKEE ELECTRIC TOOL CORP 2844-20 is a cordless M18 FUEL Duplex Nailer built for concrete formwork assembly. It uses a nitrogen air spring mechanism paired with a POWERSTATE Brushless motor and REDLINK Intelligence to fire nails at rates up to 4 nails per second. The system drives nails into all wooden formwork materials without the need for a compressor or hose. Tool-free jam clearance and tool-free depth of drive adjustment reduce downtime during continuous operation. Licensed electricians and formwork carpenters are the primary installers of this tool on commercial and residential concrete pours.
The 2844-20 is designed for concrete formwork applications where duplex nails must be driven quickly and consistently into wood forms. It accepts collated duplex nails in two sizes: 8D with a 2.25-inch drivable length and 16D with a 3-inch drivable length, both sold separately. When paired with an M18 REDLITHIUM 5.0AH battery pack, the nailer delivers up to 800 nails per charge. This makes it well suited for large formwork pours where mobility and sustained output are priorities.
Designed for use with Milwaukee M18 batteries and Milwaukee Collated Duplex Nails in 8D (2.25-inch drivable length) and 16D (3-inch drivable length) sizes, both sold separately.
This tool should be operated by qualified carpenters or formwork crews familiar with pneumatic-style nailer safety practices. Before clearing jams or adjusting depth of drive, disconnect the battery pack and point the nailer away from personnel. Follow all applicable jobsite safety codes and wear appropriate eye and hearing protection during operation. Never bypass the contact trip safety mechanism.
