The MILWAUKEE 2679-600cu is an 18-volt cordless hydraulic crimper built for electrical contractors and linemen working with copper and aluminum lugs and connectors. Powered by the M18 battery platform, it delivers 6 tons of crimping force through a scissor-style die head that rotates 350 degrees for access in tight or awkward spaces. The tool ships as a bare tool with 15 U-style copper dies ranging from No. 8 through 600 MCM, a 600 MCM crimping jaw, and a carrying case. ONE-KEY wireless technology records and stores every crimp made, supporting job documentation and professional report building.
This crimper is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work where consistent, verifiable terminations are required. The hydraulic system is optimized to perform across a temperature range of 0 to 122 degrees F, making it viable on job sites with variable conditions. UL 486A-B connection compatibility is established for Anderson, Blackburn, Burndy, ILSCO, Panduit, Penn-Union, and T and B connectors. The FORCE LOGIC series design is intended for high-volume crimping tasks where speed and crimp integrity are critical.
Compatible with Milwaukee M18 battery platform (batteries not included). Accepts U-type dies sized No. 8 through 600 MCM. UL 486A-B listed for use with Anderson, Blackburn, Burndy, ILSCO, Panduit, Penn-Union, and T and B connectors. Copper lug capacity: 8 AWG to 350 kcmil. Aluminum lug capacity: 8 AWG to 600 kcmil.
Installation and termination work with this tool should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the NEC and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any termination. Verify die size matches the conductor gauge and connector barrel before crimping. Do not use damaged or worn dies, as this can result in incomplete crimps and failed terminations.
