The MILWAUKEE 2661-20 is a cordless M18 FUEL brushless lockbolt tool built for industrial fastening in demanding shop and assembly environments. Powered by a POWERSTATE brushless motor delivering 4,500 lbs. of pulling force, it installs Magna-Grip, C6L, C120L, Bobtail, and Hucktainer lockbolt fasteners without requiring air compressors or hoses. ONE-KEY compatibility allows tool tracking and management from a mobile device. REDLINK PLUS intelligence protects the tool and battery from overloads, overheating, and over-discharge. The tool weighs 5.9 pounds and ships as a single unit without a battery.
This tool is designed for structural assembly, manufacturing, and heavy construction applications where pneumatic infrastructure is unavailable or impractical. It installs up to 1,200 aluminum Magna-Grip lockbolts per charge on an M18 REDLITHIUM XC5.0Ah battery (sold separately). With an optional adapter (49-16-2661R), the tool also installs 3/16 inch through 9/32 inch blind rivets in aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. With the Hucktainer Fastener Adapter (49-16-2661HT), Hucktainer fasteners can also be set. The all-metal gearcase and impact-resistant plastics with protective rubber overmold are rated for corrosive and high-cycle environments.
Compatible with the M18 REDLITHIUM battery platform. Installs HUCK Bobtail, Magna-Grip, C6L, C120L, and Hucktainer fasteners. Blind rivet capability requires the M18 Lockbolt to Blind Rivet Tool Conversion Kit (49-16-2661R). Hucktainer fastener installation requires adapter 49-16-2661HT. Compatible HUCK tip models include 99-7932, 99-7932CC, 99-2555, 99-3417, 99-3201, 99-3204, and 99-3464.
Installation is performed by structural assemblers, ironworkers, or maintenance technicians in shop and field environments. Ensure the M18 battery is fully charged and properly seated before operation. Confirm the correct nose assembly or adapter is installed and secured for the fastener type being set. Refer to the fastener manufacturer specifications and applicable structural codes for approved fastener applications and inspection requirements.
