The MILLER T5121-Z7/6FTAF is a two-leg shock absorbing lanyard built for use in fall protection systems on construction sites, industrial facilities, and elevated work environments. Constructed from polyester webbing, this lanyard measures 6 feet in length and supports a load capacity of 310 pounds. Both the anchorage end and harness end feature locking snap hooks, providing secure, gate-controlled connections at each attachment point. The shock absorbing pack deploys during a fall event to reduce arrest forces on the worker. Licensed HVAC technicians, electricians, ironworkers, and general contractors who work at height rely on this type of lanyard as a primary component of a personal fall arrest system.
This lanyard is designed for use in two-point fall protection applications where dual-leg coverage is required, allowing workers to maintain continuous connection while moving between anchor points. The 3/4-inch gate opening on the locking snap hooks is compatible with standard anchorage connectors and dorsal D-rings on full-body harnesses. The orange polyester webbing provides visual identification for inspection purposes. This product is not rated for arc flash work environments.
Designed for use with full-body harnesses and fall protection systems accepting locking snap hook connections with a 3/4-inch gate opening at both the dorsal D-ring and anchorage point.
Installation and inspection of personal fall arrest equipment should be performed by a competent person as defined by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.32. Before each use, inspect the webbing, stitching, hardware, and shock pack for cuts, fraying, corrosion, or deployment indicators. Connect the anchorage-end snap hook to a rated anchor point capable of supporting the required arrest loads before connecting the harness end. Never connect a snap hook back to the lanyard webbing or to a non-rated attachment point.
