The MILLER RKNAR-QC/UBK is a full body fall protection harness built for arc flash and flame-resistant applications in demanding work environments. Rated to 400 pounds, this harness is designed to meet the safety requirements of electricians and other trades working near live electrical equipment where arc flash hazards are present. The harness features a back D-ring as the primary fall arrest attachment point, quick-connect leg straps, quick-connect chest strap, and cam-style shoulder strap buckles for fast donning and secure fit adjustment. It is available in a large to X-large size range.
This harness is intended for use in industrial, commercial, and utility environments where workers require both fall arrest protection and arc flash or flame-resistant garment performance. Typical applications include electrical maintenance, substation work, and any elevated task where an arc flash boundary is present. The flame-resistant harness material provides an added layer of protection when standard synthetic harnesses would be a liability near high-energy electrical systems. Licensed electricians and qualified safety professionals are the primary installers and users of this equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style full body fall arrest harness for use with compatible lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, and anchorage connectors meeting ANSI Z359 and OSHA fall protection standards. Confirm compatibility with your fall protection system components before use.
Fall protection harnesses must be inspected before each use and fitted by a competent person per OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 and ANSI Z359 requirements. Power down or de-energize electrical systems to the extent feasible before working at height near arc flash hazards, and follow your site arc flash program. Do not connect the harness D-ring to an anchorage or connector not rated for fall arrest loads. Retire the harness from service immediately following any fall event or if the harness shows signs of damage, wear, or exposure to heat.
