The MILLER p950-58/ugn is a full body positioning vest harness designed for workers operating at height in industrial and construction environments. Part of the MILLER BY PIP DuraFlex Python series, this harness features polyester webbing construction and a vest-style fit rated to 400 lb weight capacity. D-rings are located at the back and hips, supporting both fall arrest and positioning applications. Padding at the back and shoulder increases comfort during extended wear. The harness is RFID equipped, allowing for rapid inspection tracking and asset management in high-volume safety programs. Sized for L/XL unisex fit, it is intended for installation and service trades where overhead or elevated positioning is a routine job task.
This harness is suited for residential and commercial construction, industrial maintenance, and utility work where workers must position themselves at elevation for extended periods. The vest-style design allows for quick donning and adjustment, and the sub-pelvic strap distributes suspension load across the lower body following a fall event. The friction torso adjustment system allows for a customized fit across a range of body sizes within the L/XL range. An attachable lanyard ring is included, and an extra lanyard ring is available on non-front D-ring configurations for attaching two-legged lanyards.
Designed as an OEM-style full body positioning harness within the MILLER BY PIP DuraFlex Python series, sized L/XL for unisex fit. Compatible lanyards and connectors should meet applicable ANSI Z359 or OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M requirements.
Donning and inspection of this harness should be performed by a competent person as defined under OSHA fall protection standards. Before each use, inspect all webbing, hardware, and D-rings for wear, cuts, chemical damage, or deformation. The harness must be fitted snugly with no slack in the chest or leg straps, and the sub-pelvic strap properly positioned beneath the pelvis. After any fall event, remove the harness from service immediately and follow the manufacturer inspection and retirement protocol.
