The MILLER H5IC311002 is a full-body personal fall protection harness designed for construction and trade work at height. Part of the Miller H500 series, it features a universal fit and a rear dorsal D-ring attachment point rated to 420 pounds load capacity with a polyester webbing construction rated to 5,000 pounds tensile strength. Ergonomic shoulder and back padding reduces fatigue during extended wear, and the highly breathable, lightweight design keeps the harness manageable across a full shift. Licensed safety professionals and trade contractors working under OSHA and ANSI fall protection requirements will find this harness meets applicable standards for personal fall arrest systems.
The H5IC311002 is suited for residential and commercial construction environments where workers are exposed to fall hazards at elevated heights. It is appropriate for use by HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, roofers, and general construction crews performing work on elevated structures, rooftops, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. The universal sizing accommodates a broad range of body types without requiring model-specific fitting. The construction harness style means the webbing configuration and D-ring placement are optimized for typical jobsite movement and positioning.
Designed as an OEM-style personal fall arrest harness compatible with standard fall protection lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, and anchorage connectors meeting ANSI Z359 and OSHA 1926.502 requirements.
Fall protection harnesses must be inspected before each use and fitted by a qualified person per OSHA 1926.502 and applicable ANSI Z359 guidelines. Power down or de-energize any nearby electrical equipment before working at height near energized systems. Do not alter, cut, or field-modify any webbing or hardware. Harnesses involved in a fall arrest event must be removed from service immediately and inspected or replaced per manufacturer and OSHA requirements.
