The MILLER H5IC221002 is a full body fall protection harness designed for construction and industrial work at height. Part of the Miller H500 series, it features a single dorsal D-ring positioned at the back for connection to a personal fall arrest system. The harness is rated to 420 pounds load capacity and is built from polyester webbing with a tensile strength of 5,000 pounds. Ergonomic shoulder and back padding distributes weight across the torso for extended wear, and a lightweight, breathable design reduces fatigue during full-shift use. Licensed HVAC techs, electricians, plumbers, and general tradespeople working on rooftops, ladders, or elevated structures rely on this harness as their primary fall protection interface.
The H5IC221002 is sized universally, fitting a broad range of body types without requiring a size-specific selection. Its construction harness style makes it appropriate for residential and light commercial job sites where workers are exposed to fall hazards. The harness is intended to be paired with a compatible lanyard, self-retracting lifeline, or ancconnector to complete a compliant personal fall arrest system. Leg and shoulder webbing provide secure, adjustable fit points throughout the workday.
Designed as an OEM-style personal fall arrest harness for use with compatible lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, and anchorage connectors meeting ANSI Z359 and OSHA fall protection requirements.
A qualified competent person as defined by OSHA fall protection regulations should fit and inspect the harness before each use. Power down or de-energize equipment in the work zone per applicable site safety plans before donning and adjusting the harness. Do not modify webbing, hardware, or stitching. Inspect all straps, buckles, and the D-ring for wear, cuts, or corrosion prior to each use and retire the harness immediately following any fall arrest event.
