The MILLER 219M-Z7/6FTGN is a single-leg shock absorbing lanyard designed for use with Miller full-body harnesses in fall protection applications. Constructed from polyester webbing with a 1-inch diameter, it features a locking snap hook at the harness connection end and a locking rebar hook at the anchorage end. The lanyard extends 6 feet in length and carries a rated load capacity of 310 pounds with a breaking strength of 5,000 pounds. The integrated shock absorber deploys during a fall event to reduce arrest forces on the worker. Licensed HVAC, construction, and general industry professionals rely on this lanyard wherever OSHA-regulated fall protection is required at height.
This lanyard is suited for residential and commercial construction environments, steel erection, concrete forming, and any elevated work scenario requiring compliance with fall arrest regulations. The locking rebar hook anchorage connection makes it particularly appropriate for concrete and rebar tie-off points on structural jobs. It is designed for use with Miller full-body harnesses and is not rated for arc flash work environments. The 2-1/2-inch gate opening on the anchorage hook accommodates standard structural anchorage points and rebar diameters found in typical jobsite conditions.
Designed for use with Miller full-body harnesses. Not rated for arc flash work environments.
Fall protection equipment must be inspected before each use by a competent person in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502 and applicable ANSI Z359 standards. Always connect the locking snap hook to the dorsal D-ring of a compatible full-body harness and verify the gate locks fully before working at height. The shock pack deploys only once — any lanyard that has arrested a fall must be removed from service immediately and replaced. Installation and inspection should be performed by a qualified fall protection professional.
