The MILL-ROSE 70886 is a PTFE thread seal tape designed for use on threaded pipe connections in plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Commonly known as Teflon tape, PTFE tape is wrapped around male pipe threads before assembly to create a leak-free seal and to lubricate threads for easier makeup. This 3/4-inch-wide tape in the Blue Monster line is sized for larger-diameter fittings and is a standard consumable carried by plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians on nearly every service call.
