The MILL-ROSE 70200-zb is a white, 100% virgin PTFE thread sealant tape used to seal threaded pipe and fitting connections against leaks. The tape conforms tightly to male threads and creates a pressure-resistant seal when connections are made up. At 0.003 inches thick and 0.5 inches wide with a 520-inch roll length, it covers a high volume of joints on a single roll. Rated to 3000 psi and a temperature range of -450 to 500 degrees F, it handles the demands of plumbing, gas, HVAC, and hydraulic applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters reach for this tape as a standard consumable on residential and commercial jobs.

This tape is suited for use on threaded NPT connections in water supply, gas distribution, compressed air, and hydronic heating systems. Installation Notes

Wrap the tape clockwise around male threads, starting at the first thread and overlapping each pass slightly, then make up the fitting hand-tight before applying final torque with appropriate wrenches. Do not reuse tape from a previously assembled joint.
