The CARRIER MIDEA NORTH AMERICA dlfscah09xak is a 9,000 BTU/h ceiling-mounted ductless indoor cassette unit from the Advantage Series. Designed for multi-zone mini-split systems, this unit mounts flush in a ceiling grid and delivers conditioned air in multiple directions for even room coverage. It ships with a wireless remote controller, a built-in condensate lift pump, and integrated electrical components, reducing the need for additional accessories during installation. HVAC technicians install this unit in both residential and light commercial applications where space-saving, ceiling-flush air distribution is required.
The dlfscah09xak cassette unit is suited for ceiling-mounted ductless installations in offices, retail spaces, server rooms, and residential living areas where a wall-mount unit is not practical. Its multi-zone compatibility allows it to operate as one of several indoor units connected to a compatible multi-zone outdoor condensing unit. The built-in condensate lift pump simplifies drainage in situations where gravity drainage to a nearby drain line is not available.
Designed as an OEM Advantage Series ceiling cassette indoor unit for use with compatible Midea ductless multi-zone outdoor condensing units. Refer to the outdoor unit manufacturer specifications to confirm multi-zone port and BTU/h matching requirements before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with ductless mini-split systems and local mechanical codes. Power to the outdoor unit and any associated electrical circuits must be shut off at the disconnect before beginning installation. The cassette requires proper ceiling framing and a level mounting surface to ensure correct airflow distribution and condensate drainage. Refrigerant line connections and electrical wiring must comply with applicable local codes and the outdoor unit manufacturer specifications.
