The MIDDLE ATLANTIC - U.S. - LEGRAND VT3 is a 3-space rack-mount vent panel designed to improve airflow and thermal management inside enclosed equipment racks and cabinets. Featuring a large-perforation pattern, the VT3 allows heat generated by rack-mounted electronics, amplifiers, and AV or data equipment to escape freely, reducing the risk of thermal shutdown or component damage. It installs in standard EIA-compatible rack rails and is typically deployed by AV integrators, IT rack technicians, and low-voltage installers working on enclosed rack builds.

The VT3 is used in rackmount enclosures where passive ventilation is needed between or above heat-generating components. The large-perforation design maximizes open area compared to standard small-hole vent panels, making it well suited for equipment densities that generate significant heat. It fills 3 rack units of vertical space and can be placed at the top, middle, or bottom of a rack to guide convective airflow in the desired direction. It ships as a single unit and is sold individually.
