The MIDDLE ATLANTIC - U.S. - LEGRAND KDE2 is a pair of 2-space rack mount ears designed for extending equipment mounting depth in standard EIA rack enclosures. These side rails provide the structural support needed to secure rackmount gear at a depth of 15.5 inches, accommodating deeper chassis that require additional fore-to-aft clearance. The KDE2 is a rackmount accessory used by AV integrators, IT technicians, and low-voltage installers working with equipment racks in equipment rooms, server closets, and AV bays.

The KDE2 ears are suited for residential and commercial rack installations where standard shallow-depth rails are insufficient for the equipment being mounted.
