The MIDDLE ATLANTIC lace-40-op is a perforated steel lace strip designed for vertical cable management in standard equipment racks. Rated for 40U rack height and measuring 3.25 inches wide, each strip mounts to rackrail brackets and provides multiple anchor points for organizing and securing cable bundles. This product is sold as a 6-pack, making it a practical choice for full-rack deployments or multi-rack installations. Low-voltage technicians, AV integrators, and data center installers rely on this type of hardware to keep wiring neat, accessible, and compliant with structured cabling standards.
The lace-40-op is suited for use in 40U open-frame or enclosed equipment racks where vertical cable runs need to be managed along the rack rail. Typical applications include server rooms, AV equipment racks, telecom closets, and network distribution frames. The perforated design allows tie wraps or hook-and-loop fasteners to be placed at virtually any point along the strip, giving the installer flexibility to match the cable entry points of installed equipment. Six strips per package supports a full front-and-rear management setup across multiple rack sections.
Designed as an OEM-style accessory for use with standard rackrail bracket systems in 40U equipment racks.
Installation is typically performed by low-voltage technicians or AV rack integrators. Power down or de-energize any active equipment in the rack before working in cable pathways to avoid accidental disconnection. Strips mount vertically to existing rackrail brackets using standard rack hardware. Follow applicable structured cabling standards and local low-voltage codes when organizing and securing cable bundles.
