The MICRO 100 CRE-750-312X is a double-ended, solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius profiles on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. It features a 5/16 inch radius, a 3/4 inch mill diameter, and three right-hand flutes for efficient chip evacuation. The tool carries an AlTiN coating, which extends tool life in high-temperature cutting environments such as hardened steels and stainless. With a 4 inch overall length and a 3/4 inch shank diameter, it mounts directly in standard end mill holders or collet chucks. Machinists and toolroom professionals use this tool on CNC mills and manual knee mills alike.
This end mill is suited for radius-break and edge-contouring operations in precision machining environments including tool and die, aerospace component work, and general job-shop production. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, reducing per-edge tooling cost in high-volume runs. The right-hand flute direction is compatible with conventional climb-milling strategies on standard vertical machining centers. The 0.120 inch tip diameter allows clearance in tighter corner geometries without secondary deburring on most applications.
Designed for use in standard 3/4 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit toolholders on CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills capable of accepting straight-shank tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's toolholder torque and runout specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or lockout state before changing tooling. Confirm shank engagement depth meets the toolholder manufacturer's minimum grip length recommendation. Do not exceed the tool's rated speed and feed parameters as specified in MICRO 100 cutting data documentation.
