The MG ELECTRONICS m127 is a dual-pole double-throw (DPDT) toggle switch with a stable center-off position. It controls two independent circuits simultaneously, allowing each circuit to be routed to one of two outputs or interrupted entirely at center. The switch uses solder-lug terminations and is suited for panel or PCB mounting. A rugged metal body and lever mechanism support reliable operation through repeated switching cycles. Licensed electricians, instrumentation technicians, and control panel builders are the typical installers for this type of component.
The m127 is appropriate for moderate-current signal paths in professional audio-visual systems, lighting control panels, instrumentation enclosures, and industrial automation assemblies. Its DPDT configuration makes it useful wherever a single actuator must simultaneously switch two separate circuits between two states or cut both to an off condition at center. Panel cutout or board-mount installation both apply depending on the enclosure or PCB layout in use.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit component for DPDT center-off toggle switch positions in control panels, instrumentation enclosures, and custom automation assemblies.
De-energize the circuit and discharge any capacitive loads before removing or installing this switch. Solder connections should be made with appropriate flux-core solder and a properly sized soldering iron to avoid cold joints or thermal damage to adjacent components. Follow applicable NEC guidelines for control wiring, and verify the switch ratings are not exceeded by the circuit it will carry before energizing.
