Product Description

The METAL-FAB MF-5DF is a Sure-Seal direct vent roof flashing designed for 5-inch direct vent systems installed on roofs with a 1/12 to 5/12 pitch. Direct vent systems are balanced-pressure systems that draw combustion air from outside the structure and exhaust combustion gases through a sealed flue. This flashing provides a weather-tight termination point at the roof deck for those systems. It is fabricated from 430 stainless steel and is UL 2112 listed. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers working on sealed-combustion heating appliances are the primary installers.

This roof flashing is suited for residential direct vent heating system installations where the vent terminates through a low-slope roof. The 1/12 to 5/12 pitch range covers standard low-to-moderate residential roof slopes. The male-to-female slip connection design with flared female connections integrates with compatible direct vent components, reducing installation time and keeping the assembly tight without supplemental gaskets.
