The MERSEN R266 is a fuse reducer designed for UL Class R fuses, tested to 200,000A. It allows the use of lower-rated fuses in existing equipment with clips of higher ampere ratings. Closer-rated time delay fuses can improve circuit protection. It allows a 60A fuse to fit 200A clips.
