The MERSEN ggc-v1 is a fast-acting miniature fuse rated at 1 amp and 250 VAC, housed in a cylindrical glass body measuring 0.25 inches in diameter by 1.25 inches in length. It is a non-rejection type fuse from the GGC-V series, terminated with axial leads and designed for surface mount installation. With a 0.2 kA interrupt rating, this fuse provides overcurrent protection in compact electronic and electrical assemblies. Licensed electricians and electronics technicians install this fuse in control boards, instrumentation panels, and low-current circuit protection applications where fast, reliable clearing of fault currents is required.
The ggc-v1 is suited for residential and light commercial control circuits, printed circuit board assemblies, and small appliance or instrumentation applications where a 1-amp, 250-volt fast-acting fuse is specified. The non-rejection body style fits standard fuse holders designed for cylindrical glass fuses. Surface mount installation with axial leads makes it compatible with both through-hole PCB mounting and inline fuse clip holders.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for standard cylindrical glass miniature fuses in control boards, instrumentation panels, and PCB assemblies requiring a 1-amp, 250-VAC, fast-acting, non-rejection fuse with axial lead termination.
Installation and replacement of control circuit fuses should be performed by a qualified electrician or electronics technician. Always de-energize and lock out the equipment before replacing a fuse, and verify the replacement fuse matches the amperage, voltage, and speed ratings specified by the equipment manufacturer. Do not substitute a fuse with a higher amperage rating, as this will defeat the overcurrent protection. Refer to NEC guidelines and the equipment manufacturer instructions for fuse selection and replacement procedures.
