The MERSEN ATDR2-1/4 is a Class CC time-delay fuse rated for 600 volts and 2-1/4 amps. Class CC fuses are a compact, high-interrupting-capacity format widely used in control circuits, motor branch circuits, and industrial power distribution panels. The time-delay characteristic allows the fuse to ride through brief inrush currents during motor startup while still providing fast response to sustained overloads and short-circuit faults. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians install this type of fuse as part of branch-circuit and control-circuit protection in compliance with NEC requirements.
The ATDR2-1/4 is suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical systems where Class CC fuse holders or fusible disconnect blocks are installed. Typical applications include motor control panels, HVAC unit controllers, transformer primary protection, and other low-amperage branch circuits requiring both overload and short-circuit protection. Its 600-volt rating makes it appropriate for single-phase and three-phase distribution systems up to that voltage level.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for Class CC time-delay fuses in standard CC-rated fuse holders and fusible disconnect blocks rated at 600 volts or below.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 240 and applicable local codes. Always de-energize and lock out the circuit before removing or installing fuses. Verify that the replacement fuse amp rating and voltage rating match the circuit requirements and the fuse holder specifications. Do not substitute a fuse of a higher amp rating without engineering review of the circuit.
