The MERIT BRASS XB116-24 is a brass pipe end cap designed to terminate open pipe ends in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. Sized at 1-1/2 inches with female British standard pipe taper (FBSPT) threads, this fitting seals pipe runs where flow must be stopped or a line must be capped off during service or permanent closure. Rated Class 125, it is suited for moderate-pressure applications in both new construction and maintenance work. The all-brass construction resists corrosion and holds up in wet or humid environments.
