The MERIT BRASS X114-0806 is a threaded brass pipe bushing designed to reduce a 1/2-inch male NPT connection down to a 3/8-inch female NPT port. This concentric reducer bushing is used to adapt between two different pipe sizes within a pressurized fluid or gas distribution system. It is rated at Class 125, suitable for moderate-pressure plumbing and piping applications. The fitting is machined from brass and features standard tapered NPT threads on both ends. Plumbers and pipefitters install this bushing when transitioning between supply lines, manifold ports, or equipment inlets where pipe sizing changes within the same run.
