The MERIT BRASS C114-0804 is a threaded brass pipe bushing designed to reduce a 1/2-inch male NPT connection down to a 1/4-inch female NPT port. This hex bushing serves as a compact, in-line reducer for joining two threaded pipe segments of different diameters in a single fitting. Rated Class 125, it is built for low- to medium-pressure service in water, air, oil, and compatible fluid systems. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians use this type of fitting during system assembly, repairs, and modifications where pipe size transitions are required.
