The MERIT BRASS 8016-550 is a Schedule 40 aluminum pipe nipple machined from 6061 aluminum alloy, threaded on both ends for direct connection to standard NPT fittings and valves. Measuring 1 inch nominal diameter by 5.5 inches in length, it serves as a close-coupled extension or transition piece in low-pressure piping assemblies.
