The MERIT BRASS 3603D-12 is a 90-degree street elbow fitting designed for threaded pipe systems requiring a directional change in a single connection point. Built from 316/316L stainless steel, this fitting handles pressures up to 3,000 psi and resists corrosion in demanding fluid and gas service environments. The street configuration combines a female NPT end with a male NPT end, allowing it to thread directly into another fitting without a nipple. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly, and tighten using a pipe wrench to a secure, leak-free connection without over-torquing the stainless steel threads. Inspect for leaks after restoring system pressure.
