The MERIT ABRASIVES 69957399795 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for use with Power-Lock Type 1 handheld disc sanders. It measures 3 inches in diameter and runs at a maximum of 20,000 RPM. The disc is constructed with aluminum oxide abrasive grain bonded to a Y-weight 2-ply polyester backing, rated X-weight, for a rigid feel and extended service life. At 240 grit, it falls in the very fine grade range, making it well suited for precision deburring, surface cleaning, and detail finishing work. A black button attaches to the Power-Lock mandrel system for quick disc changes without tools.

This disc is intended for finishing operations on metal surfaces in both shop and field environments. The aluminum oxide grain and polyester backing combination supports work on 300 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, hard carbon steels, soft carbon steels, and titanium.
