The MERIT ABRASIVES 69957399788 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for use with Power-Lock Type 1 (TP/Type P) attachment systems on handheld disc sanders. The disc measures 3 inches in diameter and carries a 50-grit aluminum oxide abrasive grain — a coarse grade suited for aggressive stock removal and weld blending. A Y-weight 2-ply polyester backing keeps the disc rigid under load, and a special grain coating extends cut life on moderately demanding applications. The aluminum oxide grain is bonded brown over a polyester cloth substrate. Maximum operating speed is 20,000 RPM.
