At 1.5 inches in diameter with a 60-grit aluminum oxide abrasive surface, this disc delivers medium-grade cutting action suited for deburring, surface cleaning, and detail work on metal substrates. The aluminum oxide grain is bonded to a rigid, X-weight 2-ply cloth and polyester backing, providing consistent stock removal and durability under repeated use. Maximum operating speed is rated at 30,000 RPM. Licensed trades working in fabrication, maintenance, and finishing applications will find this disc well-suited to controlled, small-area material work.
This disc is designed for handheld disc sander applications across a wide range of metal materials, including 300 and 400 series stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, hard carbon steels, soft carbon steels, and titanium. The compact 1.5-inch diameter makes it practical for tight clearances, weld seam cleanup, and detail deburring where larger discs cannot reach. The brown-colored disc and black button are part of the R766 series. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 100 units.
