The MERIT ABRASIVES 69957399651 is a coated abrasive quick-change disc designed for use with Power-Lock Type 2 (TS/Type II) attachment systems. It measures 3 inches in diameter and carries a 40-grit aluminum oxide abrasive on an X-weight, 2-ply cloth and polyester backing for a rigid, durable cut. Rated to 20,000 RPM, this disc is built for handheld disc sanders used in deburring, surface cleaning, and detailing work on metal. The aluminum oxide grain delivers coarse, consistent stock removal across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

This disc is suited for fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and field service work where controlled material removal is needed on stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, and titanium.
