The MERIT ABRASIVES 69957399638 is a Type II quick-change abrasive disc engineered for handheld disc sanders in metalworking applications. The disc measures 2 inches in diameter and carries a 36-grit aluminum oxide abrasive on a coated, cloth and polyester backing rated at Y-weight for rigid, heavy-duty cutting. Maximum operating speed is 30,000 RPM. The X-weight, 2-ply cotton-backed construction is built for deburring, cleaning, and detailing stainless steel and soft metals where consistent material removal at coarse grit is required.
