The MERIT ABRASIVES 69957399634 is a quick-change coated abrasive disc designed for handheld disc sanders in metal fabrication and finishing applications. Built on a rigid X-weight, Y-weight 2-ply polyester backing, this 1-1/2-inch disc runs at a maximum of 30,000 RPM and uses aluminum oxide grain at 180 grit for very fine material removal. The Power-Lock Type 2 (TS/Type S) attachment system allows fast disc swaps without additional hardware. It is intended for licensed metalworkers, fabricators, and trade professionals performing deburring, surface cleaning, and detail finishing on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

This disc is suited for use on 300 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, hard carbon steels, soft carbon steels, and titanium.
