The MERIT ABRASIVES 69957399626 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for use with Power-Lock Type 2 (TS Type II) attachment systems on handheld disc sanders. At 1.5 inches in diameter and rated at 30,000 RPM maximum, this disc delivers aggressive material removal at 36 grit, placing it in the very coarse grade range. The aluminum oxide abrasive grain is bonded to a rigid, X-weight 2-ply cloth and polyester backing, giving it the structural integrity needed for deburring, cleaning, and detailing operations on stainless steel and soft metals. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 100 units.
This disc is suited for professional metalworking applications including deburring, surface preparation, and detail work on a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Compatible materials include 300 Series Stainless, 400 Series Stainless, aluminum, brass, bronze, hard carbon steels, soft carbon steels, and titanium. The compact 1.5-inch diameter makes it effective in tight access areas and contoured surfaces where larger discs cannot reach. Fabricators, weld finishers, and metal finishing technicians working in industrial and shop environments will find this disc a practical fit for quick-change handheld sanding tools.
