The MERIT ABRASIVES 66623340028 is a 2-inch non-woven aluminum oxide quick-change disc designed for surface preparation and moderate material removal on metal and composite substrates. It uses a Type R (Power-Lock) attaching system for fast, tool-free disc changes on compatible rotary tools. The disc is built on a high-loft polyester and nylon web backing with a coarse grade abrasive grain, rated to 30,000 RPM. Clean Bond resin technology keeps the abrasive grain from loading or smearing during use, extending usable disc life and maintaining cut rate across multiple passes.

This disc is intended for use with die grinders, inline grinders, straight grinders, and handheld disc sanders. It is suited for surface prep work on 300 and 400 series stainless steel, hard and soft carbon steels, tool steels, super alloys, titanium, and fiberglass or composite materials. Installation Notes
