The MERIT ABRASIVES 08834167116 is a 3-inch coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for aggressive stock removal, weld blending, and deburring on metal and wood surfaces. It uses a zirconia alumina abrasive blend with a self-lubricating treatment that promotes fast cutting, extended disc life, and reduced heat buildup during grinding. The 50-grit coarse grade mounts on a Type R (Power-Lock) attaching system and is rated for handheld disc sanders operating up to 20,000 RPM. A heavy Y-weight polyester backing provides flexibility and durability under sustained load.
