The MERIT ABRASIVES 08834167108 is a 2-inch zirconia alumina coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for aggressive stock removal, weld blending, and deburring on a wide range of metals and materials. Running at up to 30,000 RPM, this disc pairs a 40-grit coarse cutting surface with a heavy Y-weight polyester backing for durability under sustained load. The Power-Lock Type 3 (TR/Type R) attaching system allows fast disc swaps on compatible handheld disc sanders. Licensed trades and fabricators working in metal finishing, structural fabrication, and composite work rely on this format for quick setup and consistent cut rate.
