The MERIT ABRASIVES 08834167071 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for use with Power-Lock Type 2 (TS / Type II) quick-change systems. Built on a rigid polyester Y-weight backing, it carries a zirconia alumina abrasive grain at 120 grit, placing it in the fine grade range. Zirconia alumina is a self-sharpening grain well suited to moderate material removal and blending on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The disc measures 2 inches in diameter and is rated to a maximum of 30,000 RPM, making it compatible with high-speed die grinders and right-angle tools. Installation and removal require no tools beyond the standard TS mandrel.
