Product Description

The MERIT ABRASIVES 08834167061 is a 1.5-inch diameter quick-change abrasive disc designed for rapid material removal, weld blending, and deburring on metal and wood surfaces. It uses a zirconia alumina abrasive grain rated at 60 grit (medium grade), which is self-sharpening and extends disc life during heavy-duty grinding. The disc is backed by a Y-weight polyester backing for durability and flexibility, and it is rated to a maximum of 30,000 RPM. Licensed tradespeople and fabricators working with hand-held disc sanders will find this disc suited to high-contact, high-cycle applications.

This disc is built for use on a wide range of materials including 300 series stainless steel, 400 series stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, hard and soft carbon steels, hardwoods, and softwoods. Installation Notes
