The MERIT ABRASIVES 08834166321 is a 3-inch quick-change abrasive disc designed for surface conditioning and finishing work on metal and composite materials. It uses an aluminum oxide abrasive grain bonded to a high-loft polyester and nylon web backing, delivering consistent cut with a non-woven, flexible construction. The disc connects via a Type S attaching system compatible with Power-Lock Type 2 (TS / Type II) quick-change mandrels and is rated to 20,000 RPM. At a Very Fine grade, it is suited for light material removal, blending, and smear-free finishing passes. Fabricators, welders, and metal finishers working on precision assemblies commonly use this disc for final surface prep.

This disc is designed for use with die grinders, inline grinders, straight grinders, and handheld disc sanders. Installation Notes
